Private Coaching Program

Are you looking to up-level your yoga teaching career? Interested in learning tips, tricks, and tools from someone who has spent 17+ years in the business, taught retreats worldwide, lead workshops at national conferences, and created the world's first online 500 hour teacher training?

Hi, I'm Alanna Kaivalya, and I'm 100% invested in your success. I know what it's like to struggle as a yoga teacher, teaching umpteen classes a week and barely getting by. I also know what it’s like to look out across this saturated market and wonder how to get students to notice YOU and crave what YOU offer. I'm here to help!

If you are committed to investing yourself in the success of your yoga teaching career, I'm committed to giving you the support, insight, and tools you need.

My private coaching program accepts a very limited number of students, and enrollment is only open a few times a year. Fill out the application to be notified of acceptance, enrollment dates, or to get on the waitlist.

"Alanna's consistent guidance and the container of the mentoring group gave me the exact push I needed to take the next step in my teaching career."

-Elise Fabricant
"Alanna had all the resources, tools and contacts I needed and provided incredible support and encouragement, as did the other members of the program. This has given me the extra push I needed to advance my teaching and studio's goals."

– Megan Kahn
Alanna believes spirituality and yoga are for everyone and each student can develop the self-empowerment needed to embark on a personal journey to meaningful transformation. On this principle she founded The Kaivalya Yoga Method, a fresh take on yoga emphasizing the individual path while honoring tradition. Teaching students since 2001, teachers since 2003, Alanna has written and developed teacher trainings worldwide for top studios and independently. In 2015, she debuted a comprehensive 500hr-online teacher training with YogaDownload. She holds a Ph.D. in Mythological Studies with an Emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, has authored numerous articles and multiple books: Myths of the Asanas, an accessible practitioner’s guide to stories behind beloved poses; Sacred Sound, a yoga “hymnal,” illustrating the role of chant and mantra in modern practice. Her third book, Yoga Beyond the Mat, is a guidebook showing practitioners how to make yoga their spiritual practice. She lives in New York City with Roxy the Wonderdog.
